Frequently Asked Questions

  • The Knit with Confidence course was designed specifically for you! Tailored to encourage and champion complete beginner knitters, who have never held a pair of needles before. I have taught hundreds of people over the years and...drumroll please...everyone can knit! I want to make sure you enjoy it too!

  • You are more than welcome to sign up alone or with friends. Most people come on their own and enjoy making new crafty friends on their knitting journey. I foster a friendly, light and happy atmosphere with plenty of laughter, so even though you may feel nervous to join the first class, please be assured that you will get a warm welcome and it is my priority, above the knitting, that you have a good time.

  • Absolutely! The course fee includes yarn and knitting needles, however, should you wish to bring along knitting needles and yarn that you already have or that your grandma/mum/aunt gave you many years ago, you are most welcome to!

  • It depends on how confident you feel in your knitting, if you know how to cast on, cast off, knit and purl then the first 2 classes may feel like covering old ground for you. From Lesson 3 on we move onto more intermediate skills like colourwork, striping, carrying yarn, shaping techniques and an introduction into reading patterns. So if you want to brush up your skills, meet new friends and build your knitting confidence, this course would be absolutely perfect for you.

  • I appreciate that 4 consecutive Sundays is a big commitment. So I’ve simplified things for when 'life happens.'

If you are unable to join one of the class dates in the course, you’ll now get access to that specific pre-recorded class module. A 45 minute, fully chaptered video class with a dedicated camera on my hands, designed to feel just like we’re sitting together, so you can learn at your own pace in your pyjamas if you wish.

If you’d prefer a private, in person class to cover the skills of whichever of the classes you are unable to join, you can book a Private Class with me for €60.

If there are multiple dates you can't make in one course, I suggest considering the private 1:1 in person version or joining the waiting list for the next round.

  • Should you need to cancel joining a knitting class, please notify me 24 hours in advance of the scheduled class in order to reschedule. The first available slot will be offered as a reschedule. All cancellations within a 24 hour period of the scheduled session will not be refunded or rescheduled.
